MARKETS & SHOPPING
Markets are a great way to get to know the local people and to get a taste of the local culture. Luckily for you the Noosa area offers a variety of markets and shopping possibilities. Go to the larger shopping malls for your budget shopping or go window-shopping on Hastings Street. Visit on of the markets to stock up on your fresh produce, arts and crafts, clothing and jewellery. Every Wednesday and Saturday morning Eumundi Markets is the place to go for a stroll and taste the world’s best ginger beer, or soak in the beach side atmosphere at the Peregian Originals and relax while listening to live music.
Being on the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve list, Noosa is famous for its beautiful surroundings, making it a must see on your way through the Sunshine Coast. Cycle or take a walk through the National Park and spot a koala. Stroll up and down its beaches and watch the whales and dolphins on the horizon enjoying the sunrise from one of the many lookouts. Noosa is also a great place to jump on a Fraser Island tour as you get the bonus of travelling through the Cooloola National Park on your way to the World Heritage listed island where you can see dingoes in their natural habitat as well as the world most pristine freshwater lakes – Noosa has it all.
